The Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Sudan has been temporarily closed since April 24, 2023, due to the escalation of hostilities between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces. As a result, visa issuance services had been suspended.

The visa issuance services through the designated proxy offices will be available until the temporary office of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Sudan initiates its own visa issuance services.
The visa issuance services through the designated proxy offices are available to individuals holding Sudanese and Eritrean citizenship.
